Prof. Dankit Nassiuma
Prof. Dankit Nassiuma is a graduate of B.Sc. in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Nairobi. He holds a M.Sc. and a PhD in Statistics from the University of Manitoba, Canada.He has served in various capacities in different organizations in Kenya.Before Joining Africa International University, he served as the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of Kabarak University for a period of five years. He also served as the Director of the post graduate school, Faculty of Science member and senate representative at Egerton UniversityProf. Nassiuma has served as the Manager for the Kenya Household Integrated Budget survey (KIHBS) and the National Statistical System (STATCAP) projects (sponsored by the World Bank, IDA, DFID and GoK). He has also served as a Board member for various organizations. Among them are; the Commission for Higher education, Egerton University governing council member, a Manager for the National Statistical System of Kenya and currently the Chairman of Inter-Christian Fellowships Evangelical Mission (IcFEM) Board.He has broad experience in efficient consultancy, leadership, research and has published several books and research articles in refereed journals.Publications:
