Africa International University is a private Chartered International Christian University with its main Campus located in Karen, Nairobi. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the following position:
  • Assistant Registrar (Exams and Timetabling) - Vacancy Code AR-ET22 
This position will be reporting to the Academic Registrar. The position is responsible for the overall administration and management of university examinations and timetabling, including External examinations and management of lecture rooms, in accordance with regulations laid down by the Senate. The Assistant Registrar will therefore ensure that students are evaluated in accordance with examination regulations, Semester schedules (not limited to: Teaching Timetables, Examinations Timetables, CATs and Semester Examinations) are prepared in time and are well-coordinated. He/she should work closely with schools Examination Officers and the Academic Office Administration Officer. 

Job requirements:

  • The suitable candidate must have a Master’s degree in Education or related Social/Physical sciences from a recognized university and at least 3 years’ experience as an examinations officer in an institution of higher learning.
  • The candidate must have working knowledge of statistical analysis and research methods, a demonstrated competence in use of computer applications and ICT, good organizational skills and attention to details.
  • They should also have leadership and staff management experience.
  • Must be a Born-again Christian.
