AIU Explores Strategic Partnership with German Medical Solutions and Lecturio to Advance Health Sciences and Digital Medical Education

Africa International University recently hosted senior representatives from German Medical Solutions and Lecturio to explore strategic collaboration in healthcare education, teaching hospital development, and health technology.
The meeting brought together Dr. Nelson Makanda, Vice Chancellor of AIU, Dr. Jared Maranga, Acting Dean of the School of Computing and Emerging Technologies and Acting Director of ICT, Open & Distance eLearning and Digital Transformation, and Mr. Enos Changulo, Head of partnerships & Resource Development, with Dr. Mahmoud Gaber, CEO of German Medical Solutions, and Prof. Dr. Lutz Mukke, Director for Institutional Partnerships at Lecturio.
The discussions focused on AIU’s vision of establishing a School of Health Sciences and a Teaching Hospital, with potential collaboration in healthcare infrastructure, digital medical education, clinical simulation, digital health systems, artificial intelligence, faculty development, research, and healthcare workforce preparation.
The meeting concluded with agreement to continue technical engagements through the exchange of planning information under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), laying the foundation for future collaboration.
