Development Studies is a multidisciplinary course that seeks to prepare students to go into the communities and be catalysts of socio-economic empowerment by working with communities to improve their living conditions in a sustainable manner. It is about empowering individuals and communities to initiate changes that will lead to holistic wellbeing-spiritual, physical, economic, and social. Graduates of BADS find opportunities to work in CBOs, NGOs, FBOs, County Governments, the National Government as well as International Development Agencies/Organizations.

  • The minimum requirement of Grade C+ must be attained at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) or its equivalent and additional requirements specified for each academic program,
  • Applicants with relevant diploma from an institution recognized by the University Senate
