The signing of an MOU between Africa International University and the Missions Anglicanes Afrique.
Canon Rev. Richard Mayabi, Executive Director, Missions Anglicanes Afrique, and Captain Patrick F. Jehl, the International Director of Missions Anglicanes Afrique on Friday, November 17th, 2023, paid a visit to the Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Joseph Kiplang’at for the official signing of an MOU between the two institutions.
The implementation of the MOU will see the advancement of sound theological training through formal and non-formal training, in Africa and beyond, through the opening up of training centres for the online and module courses. The two courses that will be offered through this partnership are: The certificate in Christian Missions and the Certificate in Healthy Church Ministerial Formation which is a mission practical course for church workers.
Through this partnership, both institutions will have the opportunity to train pastors and church leaders on sound theology, and by extension promote the work of Christ by empowering the pastors to enable teaching of sound doctrine.
Canon Rev. Richard Mayabi who also serves in the All-Saints Cathedral, is an Alumnus of AIU and has previously served as the AIU Alumni Association Chairman and in the University Council of AIU.
