Africa International University (AIU) is proud to have participated in the Erasmus+ International Cooperation Summer Week that took place at the University of Life Sciences “King Mihai I” in Timișoara, Romania. The event brought together professors, researchers, staff, and students from universities across the world to strengthen international partnerships and advance excellence in higher education.
Led by the Chairperson of the AIU Board of Trustees, Pastor Dr. Esther Obasi-ike, the University was represented by a delegation of 15 participants comprising students, faculty, and staff. The delegation actively engaged in high-level discussions, collaborative learning, and knowledge exchange aimed at advancing internationalization and transforming higher education.
The Summer Week attracted participants from Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, India, Ukraine, Madagascar, Mozambique, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Moldova, Romania, and many other countries. This rich diversity reflected a shared commitment to fostering global collaboration, promoting academic excellence, driving research and innovation, and building lasting international partnerships.
Through its participation, AIU continues to strengthen its global footprint by creating opportunities for student and staff mobility, collaborative research, intercultural exchange, and strategic partnerships that enrich the University’s academic mission and prepare graduates to make meaningful contributions in an increasingly interconnected world.
